SANTA BÁRBARA ECO BEACH RESORT
My participation on these project was just on creating realistic interior images of the resort to be part of the website of Santa Bárbara Eco Beach Resort, a place located next to Santa Bárbara's Beach in the archipelago of the Azores, where you can find a lot of surfers pushing the limits on the big waves of the Atlantic ocean.
This resort offers two similar types of villas, oriented towards the city of Ribeira Grande and one main building with restaurant faced to the atlantic ocean.
Opening in June 2015, this resort will increase the offer for touristic accommodation in the north shore of S.Miguel island and will provide a better service to surfers and all the visitants of Santa Bárbara's Beach.
PS: All the wall pictures used in these project have the copyright of Nuno Sá and Rui Soares. My special thanks to them for letting me use their work.

LE QUAI AUX GRAINS
These images were made by me during my time in Archikubik for an Urban Development Project in Paris, France.
Located in the sector of Ivry Confluences, an urban site changing rapidly, this project has the purpose to reorganize several industrial plots, including La Minoterie and the old factory of SNFA. After analyzing the historical impressions of the place, its current urban situation and its future programming, it was clear to team that we need to overcome the fragmented project boundaries and make a reflection at a neighborhood level, across a hybrid and complex macro-block. This analysis lead us to a present proposal where firstly, we implement a square-linear space just in the heart of the site. Exclusively reserved for pedestrians, it embraces the basic idea proposed by the urban plan of Ivry Confluences, a system of “connected Parks”.
This linear square offers various spatial qualities, the possibility of different uses, able to meet the diverse needs of the existing and future population.
Besides the public space approach, the project was composed by 5 buildings with different densities in a total of 14.000 m2 divided by 96 apartments and 78 social apartments and an underground parking for 170 cars.
The different densities of the buildings results from an intent to maintain the scale of the buildings near the Boulevard of Brandbourg and Rue Pierre Rigaud, and to increase the scale as we go in to the heart of the site. As so, the linear square is created to follow this intention by connecting the both streets level to the heart of the site at an upper level. This intention gave us one more parking floor as we were limited by the surroundings of the river.
The morphological richness of the urban plan, so varied, permits to accomplish the concept of urban diversity.
Diversity of programming of course, but also diversity on housing types, which offer the opportunity to choose many ways of life, ranging from townhouses through more dense housing with double orientation in the heart of the site.

LAFARGE SPAIN SHOWROOM
These images were made by me during my time in Archikubik for an Architecture Competition in Spain.
Lafarge Spain wanted to transform one of theirs warehouses in Toledo, into a showroom for the clients. As a concrete company, they wanted a place where they could show their most innovative product, Ductal®, a lightweight concrete that could take many forms and shapes.
That so, we tried to achieve the maximum space possible so that the future showroom could receive concrete artwork from all sizes and shapes.
The first approach to our proposal was to remove the roof that was so much deteriorated and take the opportunity to apply an origami self-bearing roof using Ductal®.
The second approach was to transform the main floor into a stairway, so we can connect the basement with the upper floor, achieving more cubic meters in one single and open space.
The third approach was to highlight the main entrances with the window frames being extruded from the façade in dark grey translucent concrete, so that could make contrast with the white color of the building.
Finally we decided to extend the roof and the main floor to south, creating an exterior space for exhibitions and protecting the south façade from the sun as well.
On the exterior spaces we decided to use the roof shape to create urban furniture and to create a grid that helped us to locate some trees that could protect the building from the normal noise of the factory.

THE ULTIMATE RACE
On September 2010, I started an MasterClass of Video Production and Special Effects at Arqui300 Academy that ended with this video.
For an year, I developt my skills in 3D Studio Max, Vray, Fume FX, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe AfterFX, SynthEyes, Fusion, Sony Vegas and also on video production.
My project was based on the movie of Tron:Legacy and I tried to produce an eventual scene of the movie, with a car race for the final battle.
I would like to say thanks to Arqui300 Academy for their support through Bruno Lopes, David Ferreira and Nelson Painço. Also to say thank you to Rui Palma for pushing up for me during the entire masterclass and Bruno Silveira for helping me selecting the music.

HENRIQUE MONIZ RALLY TEAM
Since 2008 that I'm the author of the car prints of Henrique Moniz Rally Team. To achieve better visualizations of the car print, I used a digital model of the real car and unwraped the car print into 3D Studio Max.
